Christmas and New years

I had a pretty great Christmas back home with the family. I love my family so much more that I have spent some time away! Going home was quite an adventure!
We spent some quality sister-bonding time in curlers and Pj's. . .
My mom decided to join in on the PJ fest. . .
hahah yes, my foot is a FOOT long! whoop whoop! my mom was pretty excited about that.
aw.. who doesn't love fuzzy socks? my mother and i were sporting them all Christmas break!
Camille and I cooked together.. yeah thats right-I helped cook-AND i didn't ruin anything.. atleast not that i remember. . .
For Christmas break we had my Aunt Helen's dog-tiki- she was a ball! here we are together bright and early Christmas morning. . .
After opening gifts, we had our traditional Tanner Christmas breakfast, featuring the Christmas crackers. Here is darcy and i sporting our crowns. . .

On my drive back from good ol' Kaysville, the freeways were a little slick. I tapped my break and went spinning across FIVE lanes of freeway traffic! i stared one car after another in the face, but fortunately i didn't hit any of them. I was stopped by the snow buil up on the side of the road, and faced with another problem...
Yes, i was facing the wrong direction on the freeway! With no help from my father, i decided to wait until a highway patrol man came to my rescue. The cop was amazed that my car and i made it across the freeway unscathed. . . can't say i wasn't surprised either!


For New Years Eve my BEST friends from High school and i got together to party. We went out for dinner at the Pizza Factory and then to a party at UVU hosted by ashley tisdale and David Archuletta(or however you spell his name) we had a blast, and it was fun to get dressed up and be together again.

I have a dream.... to do some modeling. There are three things people ask me when they meet me, and they go like this, "Do you play volleyball?" and when i reply no they ask, "well how about basketball?" and when i still reply no they say... "well of course you model then?" I hate letting people down, and without fail after this conversation they are let down. This is almost ALWAYS my first conversation with people! I don't like the impression it gives off, and they always have the tone of well-isn't-she-a-waste-of-height. . . I have also had a lot of people tell me that I should give modeling a try, and I found that i really enjoy doing the photoshoots. They are so much fun, but hard work(yeah, i know, go figure). well.. i have some serious catching up to do... i am just gonna do some brief info of the last month and a half since i slacked off! first on the list is the fabulous St. George trip with one of my best friends, Brittany.
Our First adventure was at the gas station just pass Lehi. Apparently Britt has never washed a car window before, because i had to teach her how to properly do so :) We were getting a little silly with the window-washing wands(not sure the exactly technical name for those) but we had a great time.While stopped we grabbed a snack- salt and vinegar chips. I came across a discovery. . . if one licks the chip a little and then smells it through their nose, it will NEARLY knock you out! It is a crazy sensation! Not sure if it is consider hazardous or not. . . . but at any rate brit took a picture of the pototoe chip-sniffWe surprised Britt's family by arriving at their new house in St. George, and we settles right in. They have an odd crack between the bed and the wall, so naturally i fell into it and got STUCK! Brittany is a great friend, so naturally instead of helping out the tight spot, she grabbed the camera. . . great idea! :)

Then we roasted marshmallows in this tiny little stove thing, but it was really quite fun, and it got the job done! Of course they made fun of the way i cook one layer at a time and peel it of the marshmallow. . . hahaa i guess it is a bit odd. Normally i like it a golden brown, but mine kept cathing on fire!

Attention ALL shoppers! incase you haven't heard, they have a new monopoly out. . . it is electronic banking, with credit cards and everything! IT. IS. THE. BOMB. AND... i kicked trash at it! Wahahahahahahhaa! i beat the whole family!
So then we hit Vegas of course! we had an absolute ball there, including eating at the cheescake factory, shopping, checking out the wierdos, and being the wierdos. We stopped in Swartz toys(is that what is called, i forget) and we found giant lolipops and the giant floor piano(check out video at bottom) I made a giant purchase for my mother, and it was too heavy for me to carry so they put this lovely sign on it(below) and when i took the bag with me later, and out onto the strip people kept giving me funny looks.. hahaha finally we figured out why.
All in all it was a fabulous trip and a great gettaway. We had almost as much in the car then on the whole trip i think! I can see a few more St. Geezy trips in the near future :)

well its finals week! woot woot! hahaha and finals week in our dorm isn't very pretty..... I am pretty sure finals has pushed poor Brooke over the edge. Emily and I don't know what to do for her! She has kinda become a hermit, see for yourself. . . .. . .

As for Emily... well she is on the phone with Collin as usual, but she looks a little too excited to see me... finals has her pretty wired if you couldn't tell!Emily's room is usually a mess, but with finals week none of us have been able to get our laundry done, so she piled hers up behind the door.... soon we wont be able to open the door!
The is not an uncommon site.... I come home and bombard poor Collin and Emily's lover convo.. I usually tackle Emily and steal all the covers, and precede to talk about boys while she tries to ingore me and talk to Collin(it never works).
Not only is it finals week, but we also have our cleaning check :( No one likes to clean, but we have a good ol' time doin' it together! check out or amazing dancing skills!
